Absence Management System - AESOP
This service provides absence/substitute software to track absences and process substitutes.

ACCESS Billing
This service provides clerical support to school districts that have Medical Assistance (MA) eligible students who are receiving ACCESS billable services. The School-Based ACCESS program allows Local Education Agencies to receive Medical Assistance reimbursement for IEP medically necessary health-related services provided to students who are eligible for Medical Assistance.

Adapted Physical Education
Physical Education classes are provided to all IU 13-operated Life Skills Support, Physical Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, Autistic Support, and Center-based (located outside of the public school) elementary, middle and high school Emotional Support classes. Physical education teachers are available to teach district-operated classes.

Adventure Challenge Training Course
This is a low ropes course designed to offer a variety of learning experiences to develop intrapersonal and interpersonal skills. By participating in the different elements, students and staff develop a sense of trust, teamwork, and community. Staff are trained to facilitate the briefing and debriefing of the challenges to focus on communication
skills, problem-solving skills, and relating what is experienced/learned on the course to the challenges participants will face in the classroom, on a job and/or at home. The low ropes challenges take place on the ground or just a few feet above the ground.

Alternative Education Program
This service provides full-day educational programming for students, in Grades 7-12, with complex behavior/ truancy issues with a focus on academic progress, development of social/problem-solving skills and work habits needed for successful re-entry into the students’ local school and/or adult life.

Amplification Loaner Program
Equipment can be requested for students with known hearing loss or documented auditory processing disorders. Amplification devices are available for an initial trial or while personal amplification is repaired.

This service provides a comparison of expenditure and revenue data for districts within Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

Assistive Technology
This service provides targeted trainings, consultation, and technical assistance on assistive technology and augmentative communication systems.

Audiological Services
Services include provision/maintenance of assistive devices for deaf/hard-of-hearing students, consultation with families and school personnel concerning needs resulting from hearing loss, and audiological evaluations for special needs children.

Augmentative Communication (AC) Grant Writing
This service provides assessment for potential augmentative device usage, language evaluation for present levels, equipment trial for grant documentation, and coordination of paperwork and writing of the Medical Assistance Grant for AC device funding.

Autism Educational Partnership
This service offers training and networking opportunities for parents, agency and educational personnel who support students on the autism spectrum.

Autism Select Team Trainings
This intensive training series provides targeted instruction in scientifically based strategies with consultation and technical assistance support for teams of educators, parents, and support personnel formed with a focus on one student with an autism spectrum disorder.

Autism Services (non-classroom)
Assessment, Diagnosis, and Consultation Support: This service provides district and IU 13-operated programs with support in determining if a student meets the criteria for autism as outlined in federal regulations.

This service provides targeted trainings, consultation, and technical assistance on scientifically based strategies for supporting students who have an autism spectrum disorder.

Autistic Support Program
This service targets students, 5-21 years old, with autism spectrum disorders. The focus is to teach academic, communication, social and functional skills through research-based methodologies with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis tenets.
