English as a Second Language Instruction for Adults
This service provides individuals, agencies, districts and employers with ESL instruction. Instruction is communicative in nature and emphasizes the skills adults need to succeed as a parent, worker and family member.

General Educational Development (GED)
The General Educational Development (GED) Program provides people who have not completed high school with an opportunity to obtain a High School Equivalency Diploma.

General Educational Development Testing
IU 13 operates the GED testing centers in both Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Tests are available monthly to interested adults.

Workplace Education Programs
Workplace Education offers businesses customized, on-site, quality education and training programs for their employees. Workplace Education can assist companies with the means to expand, develop, and improve employee job skills, and keep employee skills functioning competitively and effectively in today’s changing global economy. The program offers: on-site education and training programs, specialized assessment of a company’s specific training and skill needs, enrichment programs, and customized training based on a company’s performance goals.
