General Educational Development (GED)
The General Educational Development (GED) Program provides people who have not completed high school with an opportunity to obtain a High School Equivalency Diploma.

General Educational Development Testing
IU 13 operates the GED testing centers in both Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. Tests are available monthly to interested adults.

Gifted Education - Professional Development
IU 13 provides Gifted Education Workshops, a resource for teachers of gifted and talented students, administrators, and guidance counselors. Included are professional development workshops on general and specific topics in gifted education.

Gifted Education - Secondary Enrichment Experience (SEE) Seminars for Gifted Students
IU 13 provides Secondary Enrichment Experience Seminars for Gifted Students. This seminar series for middle school and high school students can act as the enrichment facet of the gifted student’s GIEP or as a supplement to the enrichment provided by the home district. Seminars address a wide variety of topics, with examples including Chess, iMovies, Science and History of Railroads, Shakespeare, Geometric Origami, etc.

Gifted Network - Regional Networking/Learning Community Structure
IU 13 provides a Gifted Network, a resource for teachers of gifted and talented students and coordinators of gifted education. This includes designated meeting times throughout the school year for the purpose of networking with colleagues from across the region and exploring current topics and issues related to gifted education.

Grant Application Coordination/Assistance
IU 13 provides assistance and/or coordination of grant applications involving a consortium of local school districts, i.e., Act 183, Title III, etc.
