Mathematics
IU 13 provides targeted trainings on scientifically based strategies for supporting students in the area of math Grades K-12.

Mathematics (K-12) Consortia Services
Through this service, IU 13 coordinates the Math/Science Consortium, a regional consortium for the purpose of partially or fully funding the work of the Math Steering Committee and Points of Contact including but not limited to development and implementation of regional professional development opportunities. The compelling purpose of consortium projects is to build the local capacity of educators to continuously improve student achievement through professional development programs, and product and tool development.

Mathematics (K-12) Consultation/Technical Assistance
Through this service, IU 13 provides consultation/technical assistance in mathematics at the request of individual school districts.

Mathematics (K-12) Customized Site-Based Professional Development
Through this service, IU 13 provides professional development services for mathematics educators at the request of individual school districts.

Mathematics (K-12) Points of Contact: Regional Networking/Learning Community Structure
Through this service an elementary and secondary representative from each of the 22 local school districts and IU 13 work together to keep abreast of the most current information from PDE and math professional organizations, and share that information back in their home districts. The group also serves as a collaborative resource for regional professional development activities, and engages in collegial professional development activities, and assists with building capacity in home schools/districts. Focus groups are formed as necessary.

Mathematics (K-12) Product/Tool Development
This service provides teacher-friendly resources/tools to enhance and support a standards-aligned mathematics education system partially or fully funded by the IU 13 Math/Science Consortium.

Mathematics (K-12) Regional Professional Development
Through this service, IU 13 provides regional professional development in response to suggestions from the Math Steering Committee and Points of Contact group.

Media Coordinators’ Meetings
This service provides a forum for district staff who work with library/media and audiovisual media to discuss district needs and industry trends.

Mulberry Street Program
This center-based Emotional Support Program (Intensive Day Treatment Program), operated in conjunction with Catholic Charities, serves students ages 9-15 who are emotionally disturbed and have mental health issues. The program provides instruction in all academic areas as well as social skills instruction.

Multicultural Awareness
This service provides targeted trainings, consultation and technical assistance on the topics of cultural diversity awareness and the impact of poverty on student achievement.

Multiple Disabilities Program
This program serves students who have a combination of disabilities such as mental retardation and orthopedic impairment. The focus of the program is to foster independence for daily living and to teach motor, social and 
communication skills.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Training
This training helps individuals and groups explore how different personality types can contribute to the overall success of the organization.
