Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 is an educational service agency committed to providing outstanding programming and professional development designed to improve student achievement. These services are provided through instruction to students in classes taught by IU staff, and support provided by IU 13 consultants that is designed to improve the skills of the educators that work with students. As part of its ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, IU 13 has developed a data collection system that will be used to identify, gather and reflect on key areas of student learning and the impact of IU 13 programming and services.

The IU13 Community Report: Impacting Schools and Community Through Service Leadership contains success stories of the extraordinary work of IU13 programs and services, and the positive difference employees make in the lives of those we serve. A Spotlight on Savings
The IU Outlook newsletter is dedicated to communicating information about IU 13 to the 22 school districts and business community. The newsletter, which is published three times each year, highlights success stories about programs and services, new initiatives, and the activities of the Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation.

The Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation (LLEF), supporting Intermediate Unit 13, equips learners and families for success in school and life. This newsletter is dedicated to the individuals and organizations that support student learning in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
The Collaborative Efforts Chart celebrates the previous school year’s partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborative efforts. By working collaboratively within the Lancaster and Lebanon communities, IU 13 is able to reduce expenses, leverage expertise, and engage partners in worthwhile endeavors that benefit the entire community.

In 2007, IU 13 announced a new strategic plan designed to lead the organization into 2013. The plan includes a new mission statement, belief statement, and seven strategic priorities. This brochure captures the essence of the plan and the future goals of IU 13.
