Direct Choice Residential Electricity Program

Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 (IU 13) and Direct Energy have partnered to offer a discounted rate for residential electricity supply to PPL residents located in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. 

The Direct Choice Program is an extension of the IU 13 Electricity Procurement Program currently provided to school districts. The program will enhance IU 13’s ability to provide school districts with new cost-saving services and programs.

What the Direct Choice Program Offers:

• Fixed low electricity supply rate of $0.0699 kWh for a full 12 months.
• Fixed low electricity supply rate of $0.0689 kWh for a full 12 months for senior citizens age 65 and older.
• No cancellation fees.
• Current Direct Energy customers will be allowed to roll over into the new program.
• A portion of the proceeds from your participation in the Direct Choice Program will be reinvested to support school districts and public education in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
