Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)

The Crisis Prevention Institute course identifies proven strategies for the safety and welfare of all persons involved in a crisis situation. Participants learn safe and effective means to de-escalate a crisis and to protect themselves when confronted with a potentially violent individual.

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training from the Crisis Prevention Institute

This training is a nationally recognized program designed to teach staff and building-level teams to intervene in a safe, non-harmful manner when students become disruptive or violent. Participants learn preventive techniques, therapeutic physical intervention and prevention assessments. Initial training is for 12 hours; a refresher course is required every two years.

Olweus Bullying Prevention Training

This training is available to districts on a fee-for-service basis. This training is designed to help districts understand and prevent bullying within the district.
