IU 13 provides services to many nonpublic schools located within Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Students who attend qualifying nonpublic schools receive auxiliary services in reading, math, guidance, speech and language, psychological services, and other supplemental opportunities through the state-funded Act 89 program. Eligible students also receive Title I services provided by IU 13 through contracts with IU 13 school districts. In addition, school teachers and administrators receive a comprehensive array of professional development opportunities through equitable shares of federal Title II grant funds. Other federal funds provide services and materials to eligible nonpublic schools.
