Administrative and Management Services 

The IU 13 Business Services Team and Human Resources Services Team offer a variety of Administrative and Management Services to our member districts. These services are developed, operated, and maintained in response to district requests.

Census and Tax Collection

This service offers a fully integrated census and tax collection software solution providing census, per capita tax billing and collection, real estate tax collection and lock-box collection capabilities.

Grant Application Coordination

IU 13 provides assistance and/or coordination of grant applications involving a consortium of local school districts, i.e., Act 183, Title III, etc.

Joint Purchasing

IU 13 provides Joint Purchasing Services for member districts on line-item bids, catalog discount purchases, and energy. Savings are achieved through both the bidding and negotiation processes, as well as the leveraged volumes of member districts.

Courier Service

IU 13 provides a daily inter-district mail service to member districts, libraries across the two county region, and remote IU staff. The courier is used for delivery of mail, instructional materials, and educational equipment.

The IU 13 Courier Service is available to area businesses on a limited basis, provided that the information being sent to districts is in line with our educational purpose. There is a fee associated with using the service.

Lancaster-Lebanon Public School Insurance Pool – Property Casualty

The Insurance Pool provides oversight, administrative support, and cost-containment strategies to school entities enrolled in the self-funded property casualty program.

Lancaster-Lebanon Public School Insurance Pool – Workers' Compensation

The Workers’ Compensation Pool provides oversight, administrative support, and cost-containment strategies to school entities enrolled in the self-funded workers' compensation program.

Document Imaging

Document Imaging provides organizations a method to deliver on-demand enterprise document access through a standard web browser. Electronic document retrieval enables users to search for important records without having to locate the physical hardcopy original document.
