Districts may contract with IU 13 to provide verbal interpretation to Spanish-speaking families at general and special education meetings. This is available for the parents of any child, regardless of whether or not he or she receives IU 13 or district special education services.

Spanish Document Translation Service

Districts may contract with IU 13 to provide written translation of general and special education documents for Spanish-speaking families. This is available for the parents of any child, regardless of whether or not he or she receives IU 13 or district special education services.

Translation and Interpretation in Other Languages

IU 13 maintains a list of independent language interpreters who are available for meetings and document translation in over 20 languages.
