Autistic Support Programs

The IU 13 Autistic Support Program serves children with autism spectrum disorders. This program addresses individual student needs in the areas of communication, social skills, behavior, academics, and functional skills through the use of research-based methodologies. There are four types of classes within the Autistic Support program:  Basic Functional, Emerging Academic, Social-Emotional Regulation, and Intensive Behavior classes.

In addition to classrooms, the IU 13 Autistic Support program also includes Itinerant Autistic Support teachers and the Autism Educational Partnership.
