Transition Services 

IU 13 Transition Services provide districts with information related to the complex transition needs of students. The program builds capacity in local school districts to meet IDEA requirements.

Transition Coordinating Council

Transition Coordinating Council (TCC) is a network of parents, consumers, educators, and community service providers helping students with special needs in their transition from school to adult life.  TCC is facilitated by IU 13's Special Education Services.  Act 48 credits are offered to educators. Dates of meetings are listed in the brochures below.

Transition Portfolio and College-Bound Transition

Through the Transition Services programs, IU 13 helps prepare students who are entering postsecondary institutions. The program helps students learn about self-disclosure and how to access accommodations within the postsecondary setting and/or community.

Lancaster County Career and Technology Center Application and Skills Alignment Guide

The Lancaster County Career and Technology Center Application and Skills Alignment Guide provides interested students, families, and districts with skills levels recommended for success in each of the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center programs. The guide also includes the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center application and contact information for each of the three campuses.

Transition Guide and Directory of Helping Agencies

The Transition Guide and Directory of Helping Agencies provides contact information for agencies that many benefit students as they transition from high school to adult life. It also includes additional resources within the community to meet the needs of transitioning students and their families.
