IU13 is pleased to announce a partnership with Symantec that will allow Pennsylvania schools to purchase Symantec Backup Exec products at a discounted price.

Symantec Backup Exec is a data protection solution that provides continuous disk-to-disk-to-tape backup and recovery. From a single-pass backup, end users can restore an entire application or recover an individual file/folder, plus eliminate the backup window. Backup Exec also delivers centralized management to extend backup infrastructures across a distributed environment and remote office.

Symantec Backup Exec needs are different for every school based on your internal setup. To best ensure that you are purchasing the products you need for a successful implementation of this program, Symantec recommends that schools speak with a trained representative prior to purchase. IU13 and Symantec have arranged for Pennsylvania schools to do this with a certified Symantec technical partner, Carahsoft, by choosing one of the two methods outlined below. Both methods will connect you with staff trained specifically to help determine which products best fit your district needs. After the consultation, IU13 will provide you with a discounted quote for your school district’s customized Backup Exec solution.
