Last year, 1,478 students received IU 13 Speech/Language services, 1,390 received Occupational Therapy services, and 546 received Physical Therapy services.

Joint Purchasing Vendor Information

The Lancaster-Lebanon Public Schools Joint Purchasing Board conducts its bids each school year with the assistance of eSchoolMall, a provider of Web-based procurement tools for the educational community.

During the 2000-2001 school year, IU 13 initiated a pioneering program of bids conducted electronically via secure servers using encrypted data and “electronic lock box” technology ensuring safety, confidentiality, and timeliness of bids. eSchoolMall has since implemented significant changes to the their “easyBid” process that will enhance the program’s ease of use and provide additional benefits to users and vendors alike.

Among those improvements are the addition of user-demanded reports, in print-ready format. Among the reports available to vendors are:

Complete bid catalogs (including complete specifications, purchase units and quantities)
Tabulation of quantities requisitioned by school district and by ship to location
Bid response report (easily printed compilation of vendor’s bid response)
Bid Award Report (After Bid Award is finalized)

There have also been important changes to the Terms and Conditions vendors are required to adhere to – including elimination of registration charges to access and view bids. Please consult the Terms and Conditions accompanying each bid or contact eSchoolMall directly at www.eschoolmall.com for more specific information.

Complete information and user instructions for the electronic bid process will be forwarded to registered bidders via email. The only software required to participate in the electronic bid will be one of the following Internet Web browsers:

Netscape Navigator version 4.7 – or higher with 128 bit encryption
Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 – or higher with 128 bit encryption

Note: Browsers with 128 bit encryption are required to access bids.
