Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation

The Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation (LLEF) was established in 2004 to provide financial or other support for learning opportunities, for new and innovative programs, and to enhance, supplement, and enrich existing programs to benefit children, students, and adult learners within the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 and/or its member school districts. The LLEF has been designated as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization by the IRS.

Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program

The Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation (LLEF) is pleased to be recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development as an Educational Improvement Organization. With this designation, the LLEF is eligible to accept business contributions through Pennsylvania's EITC program in support of approved innovative educational programs benefiting students in Pennsylvania' s Lancaster and Lebanon Counties.

Mini-Grant Program

The Lancaster-Lebanon Education Foundation Mini-Grant Program is continuing with a fall cycle for 2008-09!

Do you have a great idea to benefit learners that you can launch with a $100-$500 mini-grant?! The LLEF has established a program to provide mini-grants to IU 13 staff to support learning opportunities, new and innovative programs, and/or projects which enhance, supplement, and enrich existing programs, to benefit children, students, and/or adult learners in IU 13 and/or its member districts. For this cycle of the program, applications are being accepted for projects to be implemented during the 2008-09 fiscal/school year (September 1, 2008 -June 30, 2009).

  • Application Deadline: Monday, June 30, 2008 (4:30 PM)
  • Project Period: September 1, 2008-June 30, 2009
  • Award Amounts: $100-$500
  • Eligibility: Any IU 13 staff member is eligible to apply.
