Data Mining
As
districts across Pennsylvania implement No
Child Left Behind, they will be faced with the ongoing challenge of
the effective management and use of data. Districts will need to effectively
and efficiently utilize district data to comprehensively align and make
decisions regarding strategic planning, evaluation systems, instructional
approaches and school improvement strategies. The management and analysis
of district data will provide administrative teams with solid insight
about the relationships between and among the specific actions at the
building, classroom and student level that impact student achievement.
IU 13 is currently developing a plan for providing support to districts
in this area.
