The Pennsylvania State Police invite students and adults with special needs to join the “Sunny Day Camp” on September 8th for a day of fun and learning with local law enforcement. The camp is designed to promote a healthy relationship between police and children/adults so that they can learn more about the law enforcement agencies that care for and protect our communities.

This is one-day camp will be held on September 8th  from 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM, at the Pennsylvania Police State Academy (175 Hersheypark Dr, Hershey, PA 17033). The camp will include demonstrations by the police K9 Unit, Bomb Squad, and SERT Team. Likewise, there will be a static display of police helicopters and other emergency vehicles, as well as games, and music. Lunch, snacks, and Sunny Day t-shirts will also be available. At the end of the day, a graduation ceremony will be held for participants.

This camp is designed specifically for students and adults with special needs, as well their families and caregivers. It is free to PA residents, but pre-registration is required for all parties.
