'Tis the Season for Celebration

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year …” Some may dispute exactly when that would be, but I’d certainly consider this time of year to rank right up there.

It’s time for celebrations everywhere you look here at IU13 as the school year comes to a close.

  • Ready for the Workforce! Graduating seniors – with jobs! – recently celebrated their successes along with many of the local employers who partner with our Job Training Services program. Check out highlights and the names of our many, many business partners here!
  • Going Above and Beyond for Students! Who is that enthusiastic smiling woman in the photo? She is Dr. Tanya Myers, a treasured IU13 Physical Therapist and this year’s IU13 Annie Sullivan Award honoree. Nominated by her peers, Tanya received this award which recognizes a professional staff member who exemplifies caring involvement of students with disabilities, and goes beyond the duties of the classroom in helping others in the school and community to understand and accept people with disabilities. Congratulations, Tanya!
  • And many more graduations and year-end celebrations are just around the corner! The celebrating isn’t just for school-age students. If you would like to celebrate adult student successes with us, please consider joining us at one of these special events. You’ll be glad you did!
