Meet The Statewide Team…
Four IU Partners (AIU, IU13, BCIU, and CCIU) provide the leadership for PDE for multi-year, statewide work for continuous improvement. The Statewide Team for School Improvement for PDE coordinates direct support to the lowest performing schools across Pennsylvania, schools designated for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI). The state team also provides a range of learning modules, professional forums, supports, and resources for all Pennsylvania LEAs to support continuous improvement.
Michael Imburgia
State Project Director for K-12 LEA/School Improvement
Role includes: Works in coordination with PDE, IUs, LEAs, and external partners to provide executive leadership in the strategy and implementation of CSI initiatives in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jen Reinhart
State Lead for K-12 District and School Leadership Services
Role includes: Leads the design and delivery of leadership support for LEA/district and school leaders.
Andrew Mattey
Program Assistant
Role includes: Support to the Statewide team with its communications, scheduling, budget and purchasing, website and app management, and other general administrative needs.
Karen Henrichs
Director of School Improvement Performance Management
Role includes: Leads and refines the performance management systems that monitor school improvement and the support structures that enable it.
Nikolaus Barkauskas
Assistant Director of School Improvement Performance Management
Role includes: Develops tools and resources to help translate data into actionable insights and oversees the CSI data management systems.
Sheri Killian
Assistant Director of School Improvement Performance Management
Role includes: Designs and facilitates Communities of Practice and professional learning sessions for LEAs and IUs focused on data and information.
Meagan Steiner
State Lead for K-12 Human Capital Strategies and Professional Learning
Role includes: Designs statewide professional learning for SIFs, school leaders, and LEA leaders; develops human capital strategies to recruit, develop, and retain effective educators.
Dr. Kim Rank
Director of CSI External Partnerships and Facilitation Onboarding
Role includes: Onboards new SIFs and oversees partnerships and the Scope of Work (SoW) in support of CSI schools in Philadelphia.
