Reading Supervisors/Title I Coordinators Network
This highly active network group meets five times a year to engage in discussions about Literacy and Title I Programming. IU13 school districts send at least one administrative representative to these meetings. A range of topics are included in each meeting’s agenda and could include: Pennsylvania Department of Education Updates, Professional Learning Opportunities, Best Practices in Literacy, Local Program Review, State Assessments, Parent Involvement, and other pertinent topics provided by the group.
For more information, please contact Marisa Herr at 717-606-1654 or email@example.com.
Secondary Literacy Points of Contact
This service provides a forum for training, networking, and collegial discussions about current secondary literacy topics and initiatives. School districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties send 1-2 teacher representatives to participate in four evening dinner meetings per school year. This teacher leadership group serves as a collaborative entity for regional and state professional development activities, and supports in capacity building and sharing in home districts and schools.
