Thriving in the Face of Adversity
Ignite Hope, Wellbeing and Belonging for School Mental Health Professionals.
In today’s educational climate, many students, families, and staff are simply surviving amid ongoing challenges. This interactive workshop recognizes the critical role School Mental Health Professionals play in changing that narrative.
As Ignitors of Hope, you’ll explore how to build a school culture where every member can truly thrive. Led by Michelle Trujillo, Co-Founder of the Center for Learning and Well-Being, participants will learn restorative practices that foster connection, support mental wellness, and ignite a sense of belonging. You’ll also be introduced to the Framework for Educator Well-BeingTM—a practical, strengths-based approach to sustaining your own wellness while uplifting others. Leave inspired, recharged, and equipped with strategies to lead intentional, hope-filled change in your school community.
During this one day workshop (choose from two dates to attend) participants will:
- Discover five ways to ignite hope: renew our why, be intentional, seek to understand, create connections, and lead with love
- Explore how restorative, pro-relational practices build belonging and resilience
- Learn and apply the Framework for Educator Well-BeingTM—six daily ways of being that nourish personal and collective wellness
- Reflect on individual and team strengths, identify growth areas, and walk away with clear, compassionate action steps
