Fluency is more than facts and algorithms. It is about flexibility, efficiency, accuracy, and reasonableness. It is grounded in understanding of how strategies work, knowing when they work best, and using them with little effort. This workshop is the sequel to level one training that examined the big ideas of fluency and shared an overview of significant strategies for fluency. This workshop is a deep dive into the teaching, practice, and assessment of each strategy. Participants will experience lessons, examine student thinking, and identify effective approaches to quality practice.
