Substitute Teachers & Paraeducators

IU13 has an ongoing need for daily substitute teachers and paraeducators to work with students with special needs throughout Lancaster and Lebanon counties.

Substitutes may choose assignments which suit the hours, geographic locations, and/or types of classrooms in which they would like to work.

Minimum Qualifications:

Paraeducator Substitute – High School Diploma
Teacher Substitute – Valid Pennsylvania Certificate in Special Education or completion of Guest Teacher Training

Per Diem Rates:

Teacher Substitutes: $145* (Emotional Support or Autistic Support classrooms)
Teacher Substitutes: $135* (all other IU13 classrooms)
Classroom Aide Substitutes: $115*
Health Care Assistant Substitutes: $120*

*And earn even more $$ by actively subbing!

Daily substitutes can earn up to an additional $500 a month for fulfilling assignments in IU13 classrooms. The more you sub every month, the more you can earn!!

– Sub 10 times in a month, receive an extra $200!
– Sub 20 times in a month, receive an extra $300!
