Live Demonstrations: See AI tools applied to real-world administrative challenges. Hands-on Evaluation: Assess leading AI tools (Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Magic School, SchoolAI, etc.) through the lens of a school leader. Job-Embedded Strategic Application (4 hours) Administrators will apply their learning directly to your administrative responsibilities by: Administrative AI Tool Evaluation: Test and evaluate at least two AI tools relevant to school management, exploring applications for communication, data analysis, or resource allocation. Strategic AI Implementation Plan: Reflect on your school's specific needs and draft a plan to integrate an AI tool to improve operations, support instruction, or boost student achievement. Lancaster County Workforce Development Board and Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 are pleased to announce the 2026 Lancaster County Industry Tours for Educators. These annual tours give educators a chance to step outside the classroom and into local industries to learn about a variety of occupations, projected job growth, and new technology. Tour Locations will include healthcare careers and a post-secondary tour that correlates with the industry. Compass Mark Union Community Career Lancaster County Prision Additional Information: *Lunch is provided *Transportation will be provided, with pickup and drop-off at IU13. *Due to liability and space, attendees will not be permitted to drive themselves or transport other educators to the various locations. Please note that transportation will be via school buses. *Tours will involve physical activity including walking. *For safety and following company policies, all attendees must wear closed-toe shoes and long pants. Tank tops, shorts and dresses/skirts are not permitted . Please ensure your attire meets these requirements. Cost: There is no cost to participating educators. Registration: *Open to educators in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties. *Space is limited! Please ensure that you are registered in Frontline for both your district and IU13. In our effort to support students, we often add structure, templates, step-by-step guides, and organizational tools. But when does support clarify thinking-and when does it quietly reduce it? This workshop explores the purpose and impact of scaffolding in the mathematics classroom. We will examine the difference between scaffolding content and scaffolding executive functioning, identify signs of overscaffolding, and redesign a task to preserve cognitive demand while removing unnecessary barriers. The goal is not to remove support, but to use it with intention, so that scaffolds build independence rather than dependence. Please Note: This 3-hour, self-paced course will be delivered via Schoology. Access links will be emailed on June 8, 2026. The course will remain open through June 30, 2026.
