StudentIU13 English as a Second Language (ESL) Consultative Services are designed to assist nonpublic schools with English Learners (EL).

The ESL consultant is a liaison between the public and nonpublic schools, providing advisory support for the teachers, administrators, and students. The ESL consultant's responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional development.
  • Helping to interpret language proficiency testing results.
  • Observing students in the classroom setting.
  • Collaborating with public school districts in identifying resources for the nonpublic schools.
