LLVS Summer Academy

Lancaster-Lebanon Virtual Solutions (LLVS) offers a variety of summer enrichment and credit recovery courses for students in Grades 3-12.

The LLVS Summer Academy is a new opportunity for families to enroll their students directly in our exciting program for summer 2024! Unlike the current school-year LLVS program where enrollment is limited to participating school districts, families register and pay for their selected LLVS Summer Academy courses directly.

Curriculum

Lancaster-Lebanon Virtual Solutions (LLVS) will be offering EdisonLearning for core content credit recovery and eDynamic Learning for enrichment. The curriculum is designed to be engaging and fun and to target multiple learning styles. All students will have access to dedicated online teachers and support from our LLVS technical support hotline. Please contact us to inquire if your school district is accepting credit from the LLVS Summer Academy.

Choose from a wide variety of core content courses and electives designed to allow students to pursue their academic interests and develop a path for success.

Summer Academy Dates

The LLVS Summer Academy 2024 runs from June 10-August 9, 2024.

Registration

Registration begins Monday, June 3, 2024, and closes Monday, June 17, 2024. This will allow students an opportunity to have a maximum amount of time to work through the course content. Registration is submitted separately for remediation courses and for enrichment courses (see links below).

Cost

Lancaster-Lebanon Virtual Solutions accepts credit card payments, and payment will be due before a student is enrolled in courses. Payments are non-refundable; students must pay the full course cost regardless of whether or not they complete their courses. Course access will be closed August 12, 2024. All work must be completed prior to that date.

Credit Recovery Courses:

• $130 per half credit
• $260 per one credit
• Estimated Coursework Time: 30-35 total hours

Each course part includes credit recovery for content covered during the corresponding two marking periods (see below). Please select the part(s) which includes the portion of the content for which your child needs credit recovery. Parents may also enroll their student for both parts if full-year credit recovery is desired.

• Part 1 – Marking Periods 1 & 2 (.5 credit)

• Part 2 – Marking Periods 3 & 4 (.5 credit)

Elective/Enrichment Courses:

• $360 per half credit
• Estimated Coursework Time: 60-70 total hours

Each elective/enrichment course includes a semester of content/instruction.
