LLVS Learner Engagement Partnership
Are you seeking innovative methods to connect with talented, motivated, and engaged students who can make valuable contributions to your future community?
The Learner Engagement Program is an initiative aimed at enriching the online learning experience within the LLVS program. Focusing on fostering connections, expanding horizons, and nurturing personal growth, this program offers a diverse range of activities and opportunities tailored to the needs of online learners across all LLVS member districts.
With a blend of virtual and in-person engagements, including field trips and community-building events, the program strives to create a sense of belonging amongst learners by facilitating regular monthly events. Students can share experiences, learn from one another, and grow together.
Some monthly engagement opportunities include:
- Middle Creek Wildlife Park
- Lancaster County Parks & Recreational programming
- Various college and university tours
- Snapology Lancaster
- The Lancaster Science Factory
- End of Year Celebration
In addition to its core activities, the program also seeks to establish strategic partnerships with local businesses to further enhance its offerings and support its mission. By partnering with businesses for sponsorship of learner engagement events throughout the year, the program aims to create mutually beneficial relationships that enrich these educational opportunities for learners and also provide businesses with visibility in the community.
The Learner Engagement Program offers a unique opportunity to support educational and social development initiatives. Businesses can directly influence the lives of students while also gaining exposure and recognition for their support.
Learner Engagement welcomes all forms of support from organizations interested in making a difference in the local community. Whether through sponsoring IU13 programming, sharing expertise, or hosting students for educational experiences, organizations have numerous opportunities to become involved.
