New Pilot Incentives in Two IU13 Programs!

IU13 is now offering special incentives for professional staff and support staff in school-age programs at our two Manheim-area centers:

Who is eligible?*

Certificated/Licensed Staff

  • Including Special Education Teachers, Social Workers, School Psychologists, Special Education Consultants, etc.
  • Can earn up to an additional $5,000 this school year!

Classroom Aides and Other Support Staff

  • Including Paraeducators, Personal Care Assistants, Behavioral Support Technicians, Health Care Assistants, Program Assistants, Custodians, etc.
  • Can earn up to an additional $3,000 this school year!

*Some conditions may apply based on date of hire. Details will be explained to candidates during the interview process.

About the Programs:

Emotional Support (ES) Program at Central Education Center (CEC): Serves students from Kindergarten through 8th grade who struggle behaviorally in a traditional school setting. The program operates on behalf of the 22 public school districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. The program is designed to meet the students’ academic, functional, emotional, and behavioral needs while preparing them for a return to their home school district.

Autistic Support (AS) Program at CEC: Serves students from Kindergarten through 21 years of age who have struggled in a traditional Autistic Support classroom in the regular school setting. The program operates on behalf of the 22 public school districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. The program is designed to meet the students’ academic, functional, and behavioral needs while preparing them for a possible return to their home school district or transition to a community setting.

About the Program:

Integrated Emotional Support at the Central Education Center Program serves students from school age through 21 years old who struggle behaviorally, socially, and/or academically in a traditional school setting. The program serves all public school districts in Lancaster, Lebanon, and the surrounding counties. The program is designed to meet the students’ academic, functional, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs while preparing them for a possible return to their home school district or transition into the community setting. As a center-based emotional support program, Integrated Emotional Support serves students diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impairments, and Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

About the Program:

Community School West (CSW) is home to students grade 6-12 who display behaviors that impede learning, students who are in need of Emotional Support services, and students who are most appropriately served with a focus on academics. This program operates on behalf of the 22 public school districts in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. It is designed to meet students’ academic, emotional and behavioral needs while preparing them to function appropriately in their communities. It offers a lower student-to-staff ratio and specialized instruction to meet the individual student’s needs.
